Objective: The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for marketing, promoting, and selling products (profitably) and services to existing and potential walk-in customers, or those that contact the company via phone, e-mail, or other form of technology.

Essential Functions:

· Greet, assist, and engage walk-in customers regarding any questions and provide knowledgeable information on company products.

· Knowledgably assist and engage customers that contact the company via phone, e-mail, or other form of technology regarding equipment or products.

· Manage and assist in the financial qualification needs to close sales with customers.

· Rearrange the equipment on the lot as needed and ensure lot is full with each model and type of equipment Burnips has to offer.

· Ensure the equipment on display on the lot and internally is clean and batteries are charged.

· Make personal sales calls as needed.

· Seek out prospective customers and business opportunities with new and existing customers.

· Establish and maintain good customer relationships to grow profitable sales.

· Follow up, in a timely manner, on all generated quotations to ensure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution.

· Generate profitable sales orders in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of yourself and the company.

· Maintain ethical, cooperative manufacturer relationships consistent with company image and company/branch goals in the marketplace.

· Develop an effective and productive working relationship with Sales Associates, Parts Associates, and Service Personnel.

· Maintain a professional self-image and work environment.

· Fulfills customer needs for current literature, catalogs, product pricing, etc.

· Develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes in assigned territory for maximum productivity and sales growth.

· Implement a sales plan to support sales and profitable goals.

Utilize Salesforce to log all customer interactions, track opportunities, and submit sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.

· Establish and maintain an online presence by listing new and used equipment specials on Facebook Marketplace, dealership website, and other relevant platforms to drive customer inquiries and sales.

· All other tasks as required by sales management.

Education / Experience:

· Willingness to attend and complete off-site, job-related training classes

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, and climb as needed.

· Ability and licensing to drive a company vehicle.

· Agricultural knowledge/experience is an asset.

Competency:

· Extremely organized with good time management skills.

· Medium level computer literacy.

· Support company policies and values as outlined the Company Handbook.

· Work the hours necessary to perform the job.
