Powerful MAN and Mercedes-Benz engines.

CLAAS POWER SYSTEMS encompasses the full range of drive technology and matches it with the appropriate engine to form an optimally tuned and integrated drive system. This results in the highest level of efficiency available in the market.

MAN V12 and V8 engines are available for the JAGUAR 980 and the JAGUAR 970. These engines are distinguished by their extremely smooth running characteristics and exceptional efficiency. The JAGUAR 960 to 930 models are equipped with powerful Mercedes-Benz engines.


V-MAX Knife Drum

The V-MAX knife drum is made up of a number of segments. A key benefit of this design is that many of the components are mounted separately and can therefore be changed easily if necessary. The JAGUAR is equipped ex-works with universal knives which allow it to be used in all crops.
